There are four key personality traits that we seek in potential staff members:
Maturity, Good Character, Responsibility, and Enthusiasm. Although Friendly Summer Camp focus is on fun, counselors must remember that they are responsible for every child’s safety and comfort level at camp. Friendly Summer Camp staff members have the responsibility to act as positive role models for their campers. The quality of the staff is essential to a child's experience at camp. All staff members at Friendly Summer Camp participate in a two-day orientation and training program prior to the arrival of the campers.
